Small Town Family Fun & Fireworks – Friday, July 4

The Town of Wickenburg is proud to sponsor the July 4^th Spectacular at Sunset Park on on July 4, 2015.

Sunset Park gates will open at 6:00 p.m., activities with Cops Who Care and Parks and Recreation begin at 6:30 p.m., and $5,500 worth of fireworks will be shot off around 9:00 p.m. Fireworks Production, Inc. is again the pyrotechnics for the evening, working along with the Wickenburg Fire Dept.

You’ll find at Sunset Park on West Wickenburg Way, food and drink vendors, along with community booths, inflatable water slides, special contests and a new inflatable water tag arena.

Parking is available at the park, with limited handicap parking nearby. Wickenburg Police Department and Wickenburg Citizens Patrol will assist with the parking. Light plants are stationed along the pathways entering the park. Bring your chairs and blankets. No coolers, alcohol or Dogs are allowed.

Make it a day “Out Wickenburg Way” by attending these earlier activities: Hassayampa River Preserve – will be open to the public from 7 to 11 a.m., Friday July 4. Admission fees are $5 per person, $3 for Conservancy members. Kids under 12 and Friends of the Hassayampa members are free. For additional information call 928-684-2772

Wickenburg Municipal Swimming Pool – Head down to the pool and cool off before you come out to Sunset Park. The pool will have music, games and plenty of fun. Free – 1-4:45 p.m.
