Guided Nature Walk at Hassayampa River Preserve (Registration Required)
Join Ranger Nikki on a guided nature walk to learn about plants and animals of this lush preserve, including birds, mammals, reptiles, flowers and trees. This is an easy stroll on Palm Lake Loop and Mesquite Meander Trail that is just over a mile long. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring water, a hat and sunscreen. Restrooms and water are available at the Preserve Visitor Center. No pets, please, as they are not allowed inside the Preserve.
Meeting Location: Preserve Visitor Center
Limit 15 participants. To register, please call the Hassayampa Visitor Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 9 with your name, phone number and number attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Preserve Visitor Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on Thursday, June 15.
