Join Ranger Eric for a guided walk on the Preserve trails and around our native plants garden as we look for late fall butterflies. We will discuss how to identify different species, their larval host plants, and ecology. We will also estimate butterfly numbers to aid with Maricopa County Parks’ new butterfly monitoring program and discuss our Ecoblitz program, with this month’s focus being the Monarch butterfly.
