Wickenburg is home to the last point-to-point ride of its kind in the United States: the Desert Caballeros Ride.

Many spectators enjoy watching as the riders depart downtown Wickenburg and begin their five-day journey on horseback through the desert. Opening ceremonies for the ride begin at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 17 on Apache Street near the Wickenburg Public Library (164 E. Apache Street) and riders will leave Wickenburg after the opening ceremonies conclude.
