LET’S RODEO, WICKENBURG! Honeycutt Rodeo and the Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce are proud to produce the 2nd Annual Legends of the West PRCA Rodeo in Wickenburg, Arizona. The Legends of the West Rodeo will take place at Everett Bowman Rodeo Arena (935 Constellation Road), less than two miles from downtown Wickenburg.

Spectators will watch the pros compete to win in events including bull riding, bronc riding, bareback bronc riding, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, barrel racing, and team roping.

Tickets are now on sale at wickenburg.bammtickets.com. You may also purchase tickets at the gate on the day of the event, but it will be cash only. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

SLACK RODEO:

Friday, March 31: 10 a.m., free entry for spectators

“Slack” simply refers to overflow contestants. Each event during the main performance has a limited number of contestants allowed per competition. If additional contestants sign up, they compete in the slack rodeo.

IRON COWGIRL RODEO:

Iron Cowgirl Productions presents the Iron Cowgirl Rodeo in Wickenburg, AZ on Saturday, April 1 before the Legends of the West PRCA Rodeo! Books and gates open at 8 a.m, rodeo begins at 9 a.m.  Each contestant will make one run in each event, Heading, Heeling, Steer Stop, Breakaway, and Barrels. Times will be taken and fastest totaled time of all 5 events will win the competition. Spectator entry fee for the Iron Cowgirl Rodeo is $5.

MAIN PERFORMANCE:

Saturday, April 1: gates open at 5:00 PM; rodeo at 7:00 PM

Sunday, April 2: gates open at 1:00 PM, rodeo at 3:00 PM

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

The Everett Bowman Rodeo Arena is located less than two miles from downtown Wickenburg. Limited covered grandstand seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.

The entry gate requires pre-purchased tickets or CASH ONLY. If you would like to purchase tickets with a card, you may do so online at wickenburg.bammtickets.com prior to the event.

No outside food, alcohol, or coolers are allowed. Please be sure to check out the food trucks and beer booth on site. The event arena is also located less than two miles from downtown Wickenburg where many great restaurants and shops are located.

Contestant entries open Friday, March 17.

No dogs are allowed, with the exception of service dogs. No video cameras or professional cameras are allowed at this event.
