Join the Town of Wickenburg for a multi-day celebration honoring the 200th birthday of one of Arizona’s most influential pioneers, Henry Wickenburg. For a full schedule of events, visit wickenburgaz.org.

Henry Wickenburg’s 200th birthday will be celebrated all weekend, beginning at the Henry Wickenburg House on Thursday!

The event will begin with a flag raising, with a welcome announcement from Martina Wickenburg, a relative of Henry Wickenburg. A birthday cake cutting and a commemorative wreath will be presented on this special day.

The Desert Caballeros Western Museum will also be putting up a special display highlighting Henry Wickenburg’s life and featuring minerals from the mine he founded. Admission into the museum will be free on Thursday.

A commemorative roping will also take place at Simpson’s Arena (503 S. Tegner Street).
